bought a sealed copy on ebay, could'nt find a physical copy anywhere in town or on amazon. Now I keep getting "the entered code is invalid" at registration(the 20 character code) , but oddly the 18 character code was able to register on my account.

I just sent an email to square, hopefully they answer back soon -_-

The MSI Z77 G45 is an amzing value for the price (good overclocking abilities/SLI support for only $100-120).

The G45 had slightly less reliabilty compared to the elite boards but most of the issues where fixed with the G45 Gaming edition motheboard (which is only $10-15 more than a regular G45, it cost around $130).

Asus makes great motherboards (check there lineup out).

So go with this one?

I have this one and love it. I also have friends that have this motherboard and they all have had great feedback on it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131821 Its a little more than you wanted to spend($239) but its well built, and reliable. Newegg just had a sale on it too. Try to catch it at a discount or on a different if the normal price is a little too much for you. The_Animator23

Looks good and 239 is fine, my budget is now 300.

After having a terrible experience with my Asrock motherboard Its time to upgrade because honestly Ive had this thing RMA'd twice and has failed within 2 weeks of it being shipped back to me. For now my budget is 200$ but might possibly be able to push it to 300.

Current parts

intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor

G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

EVGA GeForce GTX 560 1GB Video Card

Fractal design define r4 case

CORSAIR CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3

I plan on upgrading my gpu once Nvidia releases the maxwell cards next year. Also plan on oc sometime next year.

[QUOTE="neji122793"]

[QUOTE="The_Animator23"] So did you do that?

The_Animator23

not yet, just got back home, bought the battery for the mobo going to try that first before taking it out the case.

so going to try three things before calling them back. Going to try new battery, flash bios and remove it out the case if nothing works.. well thats another 30$ shipment.

Sounds like a good plan. One of those should fix it(fingers crossed).

Let us know how that works out for you.

will do :)

****Update****

nothing worked, Replaced battery and got one successful boot with the jumper, since even with the jump I get nothing. So I can't flash it.

Also tried removing it as the company instructed but nothing. I'm going to call them tomorrow to get it fixed and sell this POS.

I had a similar problem (or thought I did) turned out my power cable was dodgy and wasn't lining up right.

Also just called ASrock, the advice they gave me was take the mobo out the case and try and boot it -_-

It's AsRock. I know 50% of the people have had good experience with this mobo brand.. but 50% have had failed motherboards. Don't let the fanboys say otherwise. It's not the "best choice." Go with Asus, Gigabyte, or MSI.Elann2008

Yeah I'm going to get it fixed and see if I can sell it to a friend or something, I'm tired of it giving me so much problems.
