Yes I did say that.. My kids are so bad at thisthat they believe the wifi on the top of the mountain is not that good.. While it's not a huge hill, it is well within the normal range of cell phones which means that my kids have to explore the area in search of more reliable internet. My wife and I are setting the camp site for our little group. We're planning to stay for a couple of days There's a small brook near by, with fresh water that we have our own. Yes.. My wife can't stay in a tent without enough water. We have our own water most times.
As my kids browse their social profiles, I'm taking in the view. The hill isn't that large, but it's in the midst of more massive ones. Every once in awhile we head out to the hills to connect with mother nature. The trips are my absolute satisfaction even though I'm the one to initiate these trips. My wife insists that we do this. Perhaps she knows the pleasure I get from being in the wild. My kids are totally different. Internet is often unavailable. An electromagnetic movement or any other event can result in a temporary interruption of the streaming music. This may happen for a few minutes or so before the music is restored. This is annoying for me because I usually find myself hearing everything.
After a few trips without Wi-Fi, and with the internet service on our phones continuously going out of service, it was clear that we should be prepared. We, and I mean my wife and I here, made the decision to prepare for the possibility that they, our children will be without internet for more than 10 minutes.. Two sources of endless entertainment were created, even when the Internet isn't available when we are camping. The tablet contained music videos and the most popular songs available on it. Our favorite Youtube software for converting mp3s helped us extract music and convert them to MP3 files before downloading to the tablet. It also works with playlists too, so it was fast despite the fact that it's quite lengthy. If someone felt bored or blue, they could still listen to music and watch videos. It's also good news for us all, sound can be heard via Bluetooth-connected headphones. This is a fantastic idea, right? It did not make a sound.
Second tablet contained mostly cartoons and TV shows we have downloaded thru Hulu and Netflix apps with offline storage for later viewing. It's not the greatest quality, but it's the way it is. There are several seasons of Breaking Bad, as well as a variety of cartoons such as Family Guy or Disenchantment. The show was extremely entertaining, and extremely simple to watch.. Simply install the apps, enable downloading for offline viewing, and then download the episodes. then mark them for download and forget, app will do all on its own. Tablet 2 came a few trips after tablet 1, but it was there when we finally reached The Wild. My kids could not stop watching shows. There were some DIY videos that I added, like making the tent and skinning fresh caught fish. You won't find these things easy in the city. These videos were taken from Youtube and then converted to MP4 and then downloaded onto my tablet. It's so much easier to have videos on your tablet while you're doing something.

These 2 tricks will keep my kids entertained for four of our camping outings. They don't even mind going out any more, as they are aware that tablet 2 will aid them in getting through boring downtime and bring it home when they're at their best. I've never been happier. This is all I want, being close to my loved ones.
