Vin from the Mistborn trilogy? Ahh, Sony wouldn't do anything that risky.

@Boat3600 @Toshi_TNE Shipped != Sold. I wonder what PS3 shelf life is compared to XBOX360. Stuff on shelves is actually a measure of poor business performance rather than the other way around. 360 was the best selling console in US in December according to another Gamespot article. Of course I also wonder how many more 360's sold a few years back due to RROD replacements.

Point 1: I thought I read somewhere that the WiiU was the first console that Nintendo will be selling at a loss, so while generating revenue its not really generating profit.

Point 2: I had no trouble finding black box WiiU's at dept. and electronic stores during the holidays.

Point 3: I still have to admit 460,000 sold in a month is pretty darn good. I don't think PS3 or Xbox360 sold that many in their first month. That said PS3 and especially Xbox360 sales have remained strong through the years with Wii dwindling in spite of large price cuts for all three systems.

@natkoden Actually I think it is projecting the room back on itself and then skewing the projection. Does kinda make it look like CGI, but its not. Neat effect.

@jimmypsn Who cares? Both Sony and Microsoft sell their consoles at a loss as well. They make more than enough money on software licensing to make up for either loss. Gaming is a software business and that is where the money is made. PSN or XBL is provides another way to transport that software to your console. I almost hate to admit it, but over the past couple of years I've probably spent a few hundred bucks on PSN/XBL add-ons and games that I never would have even considered buying from a brick and mortar store. Microsoft doesn't need a subscription to make that profitable.

@AdaxWong This is outdated. 2 years ago I would have agreed with you, but now PS3 servers are just as good as XBL. And Netflix has proven better video and audio quality on PS3. I own all three systems as well. I like XBL's online interfaces better, but that's nothing I should have to pay extra for.

Seriously? A one dimenional game on rails that I finished in an hour wins GOTY? Don't get me wrong, it was a cool concept, but GOTY? Sometimes I think GS is controversial just to get quotes for Feedbackula.

Its sad that Gamespot even feels they have to write articles like this. Says something about a large portion of the gaming community. Of course, on the other hand, it also says gamespot may be a tad insecure because they feel like they have to keep defending their opinions. Just write it and go with it. Those of us with brains appreciate your opinions and take them for what they are.
