@starfox15: Why is everybody assuming that the Tegra will be weak? The original Tegra was much better than the 360 in terms of raw power, and that was years ago. At least wait for the details first.

@wtf_666: Who cares if it is gimmicky? I wouldn't complain if it could play games well on the go. Besides, if it isn't gimmicky, people would just get a PC.

@gameplayuk: For me, I would buy it just because I would be able to play games on the go. I am very busy and the only time that I could play games is on the go. I don't have a 3DS already because I don't have any games on it that I truly like and it is mostly mobile game, and with console titles on the switch I would be looking forward to it.

@Thanatos2k: The wii might not be loved by gamers, but it was not a huge disaster.

@Thanatos2k: The wii and DS was under powered, but it performed well in terms of sales. They just needed something to hype the console up. After all, most people won't care about the specs, but the games.

@catsimboy: Why would a hybrid console be an abomination? I think it would be a better idea than a traditional home console at this point, since many people are now switching to PCs as there is not much of an advantage using consoles. One of the reasons the wii sold so well was because of the motion controls hype. The Wii U failed because a second screen didn't have enough hype behind it. Another traditional console would only bankrupt Nintendo, being so late.

@Thanatos2k: Still, that doesn't necessarily mean that it will be weak and will flop.

@catsimboy: There hasn't even been any official info yet and you have already judged it. All there is right now are rumors and speculation.
