wow!, wasn't expecting that many sales especially with the wii u next-gen console out and all the bundles ps3 is offering with brand new 1st party games, vita tie-in's and free ps money to lucky ps users. i wonder if they just make up shyte, but seems the source is very credible.
@Kenshin0011 @mrkbizzle @mrsniper83 @blackace well it looks like nintendo didnt make that apparent to me or a lot of actual consumers as well, but thanks for letting me know its a "gamepad" lol
@nintendoboy16 r&d, seems more like damage control, in a few short months we'll see the answer to that. if the wii u stops selling completely, as the numbers are starting to show, it may be the worst console launch in history. At least the dreamcast sold for a couple of years before ps2 made it obsolete, and even it had a plethora of games and third party support. It doesnt look good as of now, and that is why i question damage control, not trying to burst anyone's bubble.
@mrsniper83 @blackace i second your opinion, who knows what their strategy was in releasing a tablet as a controller, but im guessing they may have thought the appeal of the tablet trend might work for them. Apple has people making ICADE cabinets and most other gaming tablets have some sort of tacked on controller because lets face it, touch screen and gyro controls can only give you so much feedback and not one tablet game out there, even infinity blade, can give u the tactile feedback from a good old fashioned controller. Touch controls are cool and make things simpler in certain instances, but to be fully immersed in a game requires more sense of control which is why good old fashioned controllers are still the primary input device and probably will be for a long time.
