No, Bioshock clearly proves that a game does not need online multiplayer to be a great game.
we're still at a relatively early stage of online (console) gaming, so the future is definitely bright. personally i would love to see an adventure game which can only be played with 2 players i.e. having to help each other over obstacles etc etc. hopefully one day....
The original pic is very very much fake. So are the others, there was a huge set of these spawned after someone took a picture of themselves holding a crowbar in IRL, and other people did the same thing.
The thing that tricks you on the first one is that the crowbar is real, but the rest is drawn, but you focus on the crowbar. Look closely on at the other areas of the first pic, it's very much art.
