midi is not a poor quality form of recording. In fact it has nothing to do with how a recording sounds. midi is a form of recording theNOTES played, and not theSOUNDS triggered. Midi can control everything from record samples to anolog sythesizers. The problem the poster is truly finding is the quality of VST intruments, VST effects, samples, and/or digital sythesizers Nintendo is choosing. I just wanted to make it clear that the problem is not midi. It is a tool for digital music arrangement, and a highy useful one at that.

Wait, you aren't willing to take the time to, God forbid, write something down, but you will take the time to complain about it on an online forum? Why don't you think about the fact you are complaining about something on a device you could use to solve the very same problem.
