Lynch is already one of the top five paid RBs in the NFL. I'm burnt out on Lynch's antics. Won't talk to the media but will pose naked in ESPN magazine? All the hold out business for a guy who is already getting paid? It's getting old.

Did not know that. **** him then. Well, **** him anyways!

Actually 6th, but still, I think that salary is more than fair.

@Chutebox: Maybe not deep, but his short to intermediate accuracy is 90 worthy (although I think assigning a number to it is a tad arbitrary).

@Chutebox: It's only because of his speed and agility ratings, his throw power and accuracy are both in the low 90s which is less than Brady.

Anyone interested in continuing the Gamespot fantasy football league I run every year? This board basically died when Gamespot changed the forums, but there are still enough of us to fill a league.

It's easy to say because I don't have a 20 million dollar contract in front of me, but if I'm a QB closing in on the pay day, I'm going to think very carefully about what my salary might do to the team's cap and ability to surround me with good players. I saw a lot of teams with big money QBs not making the playoffs last year, although some signed their extensions after the season (Flacco, Ryan, E. Manning, Romo, Stafford, Cutler). The best way that works is if you can strike gold and get huge production from guys on rookie deals like the Hawks did. Not the easiest thing to do.

I think people are vastly underestimating the US team. I'm not saying they will advance, but people act like they are going to get embarrassed. I have no doubt they will hold their own.

Surprise, I was right.

Um, are the 49ers drunk? Holy fucking shit.

The deals are getting ridiculous and I hope QBs start realizing how they are crippling their teams,

**** the teams. They play in a sports league where they take such a beating, the career average is short as ****, and the owners will drop you at the snap of a finger the second you become "replaceable". Their market value has sky rocketed, they have their own shit to worry about, it would be shitty business to look at how much you are worth, and say yeah Imma take half that.

Players always get the criticism for their contract money, but lets be real here they play in a sport where a vast majority of the power is in the hands of the owners. They have every right to run the price tag on them. They should run the price tag on them.

They should care if they are crippling their team's ability to sign good players. Ask Dan Marino if you can win playoff games without surrounding talent, he'll tell you how that worked out for him. For their own sake they should be taking less.

I understand what you're thinking, but what else are they supposed to do? Let Kapernick walk/sit out and play Blaine Gabbert? The deals are getting ridiculous and I hope QBs start realizing how they are crippling their teams, but the teams have to do it. If you have a good QB, such a rare commodity, you have to keep it and plug holes elsewhere as best you can.
