@sleepnsurf: lol, a PS4 can do 1080p with medium settings roughly. I don't think you can run 1080p with a $500 PC at medium settings. Anything less than a $200 GPU will not compete with a PS4. On paper it might have better specs, but in the real world there is too much overhang on a PC.

@Halloll: You can build a gaming PC for $500. You can NOT build a "decent" gaming PC for $500. Nope. Not happening. You can build a budget gaming PC for $500.

@camou504: For consoles, not really. They usually come out at the same time. It makes sense though, force all the early adopters into buying the most expensive console.

@suicidesn0wman: It just happened to be backwards compatible using code from other games and MS is releasing them because they can now say you can play x amount of Xbox 360 games on your X1. "x" being one higher than before.
