Never stated PS3 didn't have old exclusives but your dead wrong, the 360 was launched a year ahead of PS3 and only recently did PS3 pass 360 in exclusive ( when "A" games are in the mix, 360 still wins today :P ) plus the 360 had a AAA at launch where PS3 didn't get a AAA until what, 2007 ?[QUOTE="momentum_god"]No for 100 bucks you can buy a 500 gig internal harddrive and install it yourself and then sell off the one it comes with on ebay and get some money back, and you'll probably have enough space with 160 gig unless you plan to donwload full retail games [QUOTE="SecretPolice"] ps3 has older exclusives too and more great ones actually, since so many of 360s got ported to ps3 (bioshock, ME2, Eternal sonata ect.)SecretPolice
Again, he can do what ever he want's as I was just pointing out that unplayed older exclusives are a boon to forst time buyers. 8)
Everyone always says things like that but no1 ever lists these games they are talking about and looking at the 360 exclusive list on wiki it has alot of crap far worse then the old ps3 exclusives, bomberman act zero, too human, Janline (never even heard of that one), 1 vs 100 isn't even up anymore ect. [QUOTE="EmperorSupreme"]@SecretPolice I don't think anyone is picking up a brand new console to play 4 to 5 year old games, most of which aren't that good by today's standards. There are alot of good older games which I don't think should be ignored when you get a new system since they are cheap and you haven't played them, single player ones anyone multiplayer ones are usually dead, granted it probably wouldn't be the thing that pushes you over the edge but it is something to look into but there aren't as many good exclusives ones on 360 as that guy is claimingGo either way put from this comment, I think what many don't consider is that if buying for the first time, since you haven't played them, older exclusives are great and 360 has plenty and even greater, you can likely buy 5 old exclusives for the price of just one new released exclusive. ;) ps3 has older exclusives too and more great ones actually, since so many of 360s got ported to ps3 (bioshock, ME2, Eternal sonata ect.)[QUOTE="TheNforca"]
Well judging from the upcomign exclusives this year im leaning towards getting a PS3, is it worth saving an extra $100 to get the 320 GB version instead of the 160GB?

If MS released a system this year or next I think the ps3 would be able to outsell it on a weekly basis and I think ps3s games would beable to remain competitive in quality and not get blown away if Sony continued to FULLY support it.
First of all MS has a weak first party they got lucky this gen and got alot of free party support but that seems to be shifting for the ps3 and the ps3 would have a higher install base then any new console and with continued Sony support so MS would even have trouble commissioning exclusives and all mutliplats would cater to the ps3 (much like they catered to the 360 earlier this gen).
Since we hit the point of diminishing returns for both advance technology and speeding alot on a game even if MS buys exclusives they won't take full advantage of the new xbox's hardware advantage and likely not significantly outdo ps3 games performance wise and their first party might get the budget for that but they won't out do ps3s games fun wise.
In addition to that ps3 would be at a lower price how much lower would depend on how much more advanced the next xbox would be, so if it was competitively priced it would have no chance of outdoing ps3 game wise and if it wasn't it would have no chance of selling decently and the 360s failrate would make people hesitant to get a new xbox system at launch and the fact that they charge for online, a fact unknown to the majority of people who bought a 360 until they had games and several assumed everyone charged (talking parents and the like not forum frequenters) will also deter some people. I really don't see a way a new xbox could outsell the ps3 sales wise if the user-base stayed healthy and as long as Sony keeps coming out with great games for it it's going to
Well your wrong, the game is made and shorter then the movie and absolute crap, I saw a review of it on reviews on a run and like most movie games it's horrible I think pretty much any movie can make a good game but almost none bother so yeahwhat movie would you like to turn into a PS3 game? i think Battle L.A would be a goodgame cause the movie wasnt lol or Sky-line...

Never got the mutliplat arguement I can still play the games it's not like the difs are a big deal and that thing about xbl blowing away psn is a thing of the past just look at the 2011 list [QUOTE="waltefmoney"][QUOTE="momentum_god"] PC/ps3 The Agency The Agency was cancelled. updated the ps3 list a little (added wizardly one and took out agency and added the MMO that got additional resources from the cancellation of agencySo far, I've got much more game time out of the 360 because:
I use it for multiplats. If there are any differences, the 360 usually comes out ontop, however minor they may be. The exclusives tend to be more multiplayer heavy than the PS3 exclusives. Halo & Gears basically, but I've spent more time playing the two than most games this generation.XBLA is amazing. Blows the PSN lineup out of the water (I can't wait for Journey though). There are plenty of amazing games that I believe rival the great retail games. I mean, The Dishwasher Vampire Smile just scored 9.0 & Kevin VanOrd (as well as myself) thinks its the best game released so far this year.I also prefer the dashboard/menus, achievements, account customization, online (party & cross game chat) & controller for everything except fighters. However, the PS3 has many amazing games, however I've personally found that the ones that interest me are primarily single player. Demon's Souls really is amazing though (I've yet to play my copy of MGS4 as well).
If I were you, I'd really look into each in depth, because if you're pretty OCD like myself, even the little things can sway you (achievements over trophies etc). Or buy both, that's the best option.
