I recently got a new Dell computer (Dimension E521)about a month ago. It comes preloaded with Windows Vista and it has an ATI RADEON X1300PRO graphics card.
I've had The Sims 2 game for almost three years (got it September 2004) and it is having a major problem with not being able to load. When I ran a diagnostic, it shows it has compatability issues with Windows Vista. Does anyone know anything about how to solve this issue? I've installed a new driver for my graphics card, I downloaded a patch for the CD (although it really didn't have anything dealing with Vista). So I'm stuck as to what to do. Do future expansion packs have patches for the original Sims 2 or do I have to buy another Sims 2 PC game that would be more compatible with today's softwar technology? If anyone could help me with this I would be very grateful.
I bought the game several years ago and it was a pain to run on my previous computer and now that I have the CPU power to run it effectively, I'm dealing with this issue. I've been waiting over three yearsto play this game in its full gloryand I hit another obstacle once more. Thank you for any help you can give.
i knew after watching the RE5 trailer that this was going to come up sooner or later. it was bound to. but regardless, I don't see any problem with the game or the trailer. I think people are getting a bit too wrapped up on it. the predictions of "what will happen" when the game is released is overblown. And besides, with illegal immigration becoming a hot topic in America, no one went crazy when you blew away Spanish-talking zombies in RE4.
Is there any way I can make my named figures (family members) better in their stats (like for governing and commanding)? many of my family members are dumb as monkeys according to their statistics. I know I can alter this with cheat codes but I prefer not to. Any advice would be appreciated.
This question has probably been asked before but I really need someone or some people to give me some insight to this ordeal I'm having. I really want to buy a Playstation 3 but I really have no incentive to get one. It's so expensive, i already have a 360 (don't mistake me for a microsoft fanboy - i own a PS1 and a PS2 as well), and many games are turning out better on the 360 than the PS3. I know online service and multiplayer is free but it's not that bad for 360 and it's had more success. so what is there that I can possibly have an incentive to buy a PS3 for? Please tell me, before I regret either purchasing one or not.
I definitely sound "out-of-the-loop" when it comes to Nintendo because I really haven't paid attention to it a whole lot, but can anyone clarify whether or not the Wii allows you to download classic nintendo games or intends to in the near future? i know, i sound like i've been under a rock, so please forgive me. if there already is, what games are they? thanks.
After Game 1 (although usually it doesn't say a whole lot), many sports fans show curiosity as to whether or not the Mavericks (#1 in their division, conference, and the league) may be upset by the #8 Golden State Warriors. As history has shown this year, Golden State has given the Mavs quite a bit difficulty, resulting in the Mavs being defeated by the Warriors in all three of the games they played against each other this year. What do you think?
