@dom28 @Fiscaldeal In order for the team to be willing and inspired they'd have to change a lot of what made FFVI into FFVI, the game was made with 2D in mind and a lot of things would only work in 2D.

A reboot would not be FFVI, it would be something else.

@Daian Yeah, I was pretty bummed too when I found out that Cloud was actually Lightning in disguise...

Still, it's a pretty epic plot twist, unfolding 17 years later.

And there IS a big spoiler in the video, however I don't think it's Gamespots fault, that's one of Square-Enix FFX and FFX-2 HD promotional videos, it's their fault.

@AccursedGamer They're tying both FFX and FF XIII, those 30 minutes will consist of Lightning using time travel and powers to visit Spira and help save the day!
