@Dissentioncc @jyml8582 Dude...you're comparing an XBLA $20 game with a limited budget to a full price first party AAA blockbuster game...of course the latter will be of better total quality, duh. Most XBLA games are not even 3d, most are 2d or 2.5d.
I'm not saying State of Decay is better or as good as TLOU, I'm saying why would you even expect it to be? It's a cheap XBLA game, it's not going to be on the same quality level as a full price first party blockbuster hit. They are on completely different scales rating-wise, because you can't realistically expect XBLA games to compete with full price games.
Notice they didn't say "and the PS4 is the only console where you will be able to experience TES Online," but with every other game that had anything exclusive in it they had to say it, I immediately interpreted that as it not actually being for PS4 only. Turns out I was right.
lol, steam sales don't par with console....how do you know that? Valve doesn't release data on how much stuff they sell on steam.
Console war? So you're going to keep xbox and pc players from being able to play this game because you want your stupid favorite console to win some fake console "war" that is just pr? Yeah and you're calling me naive...
You argued that the game should be a ps3 exclusive because it was going to look better that way...I just followed your same logic and said it should be a pc exclusive then, since it's would look miles better than if it was ps3 exclusive, if you really wanted to "up the quality" you would make it a pc exclusive not ps3. And I was being sarcastic in case you hadn't noticed...there's no reason for this to be exclusive to anything unless you're worried about kids' stuff like your favorite video game box winning the "war."
Why ps3 exclusive? The PC can pump out drastically better graphics than both consoles. As long as we're going for the highest quality and most sales it'd be much better to screw everyone that doesn't own a gaming rig and make it a PC exclusive, steam will make sure it gets sales on par or better than it would on PS3 anyway.
I happened to have just built a new PC, and could have put any OS I wanted on it, chose Windows 8. Sure, it takes a bit to get used to the new stuff, like not being able to access the control panel from the start menu, but it's not that big of a deal and it's faster than 7.
People are angry that such a nostalgic studio responsible for such good games in the past is being closed...but let's be honest...the last good Star Wars game made by LucasArts was A LONG TIME AGO. The Force Unleashed games were terrible.
I'm personally not very moved by this move from Disney and think it's probably the right one, provided they find good studios to license their games to, and not some crappy studios even worse than LucasArts.
