I just bought this game, but apparently from various sources online, there are 7 quests that are enabled only via signing in to EA servers (go ahead and google it, you'll be surprised). The option is in the menu. Of course, the more convenient and reliable way to obtain this game was through STEAM. Hence I pre-purchased this in anticipation for the game.

However, I keep on getting the error "unable to connect to EA servers..." I am able to launch the game, and do everything, except signing in to EA.

What am I doing wrong? Or is there a way to go about this?

I tried some of the solution which is to remove the 'blazeemail: xxxxxxx' from the personal.ini file located in the folder ["C:\Users\userxxxx\Documents\My Games\Reckoning\personal.ini"] but to no avail. Even tried checking the host.ini file in["C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc"] for any ea servers that could be blacklisted, but again, there was nothing there.

So I am stuck at this situation. Anyone else facing my problem? I hope to obtain some assistance through this forum; keeping my hopes up :)

What happened to it?

The last video stream is dated05/14/09. After E3, it seems on the spot is 'replaced' by hotspot, which does not have video. Is it being delayed? If so, when will the next podcast/video stream by "on the spot" be up? Or, (hate to say this but..) is it literally replaced? I've been such religious follower of "on the spot", so much so, that I'm missing it; G4 video reviews pale in comparison with "on the spot". Regardless, video reviews, presentations and, basically brings more perspective and adds more depth to a review/preview/discussion. I think "on the spot" is missed not just by me, but by a large number of other followers as well.
