Thanks for the tips. (ya I realize GOW is 3rd person shooter). Good point of not buying a 360 just for GOW. However, I've got an aging PS2 that I am looking to retire. I'd hate to lose the capability of not being able to play Mlb the Show if I go 360 vs PS3. I think I'm just gonna wait and see what comes out within the next 6 months and decide from there. The prospect of having to upgrade video card, RAM, and OS for upcoming PC titles (crysis, etc) is exhausting. It might just come down to cost comparison of the 3 systems PC, 360, PS3.

Thanks again. Remember: Short controlled bursts.

After seeing/reading about GOW, I'm seriously thinking about grabbing a 360. I love FPS's on my PC but am worried/have read about the difficulty of FPS on consoles. As mainly a PC gammer, will I be frustrated with a console FPS? Let the games begin.....

I'm doing the same as you loking retail or used.  But I've decided when I buy, it will be retail.  To me, it's worth the peace of mind to be able to return for refund/exchange rather than being S.O.L. with a used one.
