I think theyve been removed, eternal sonata isn't even listed on PSN, comes back with 0 results, and as for bayonetta theres only trailers to watch. Thanks for replies anyway tho, tried the Valkyria Chronicles demo and bought it the next day. Not many rpgs on ps3 is there :o

Was going to buy ff8 that just came out for download, but not sure how it would look widescreen, and don't fancy 2 black bits either side of picture.

Are demos on PSN taken down after a while?

Just wondering if theres an Eternal Sonata demo around anywhere, new to ps3 not sure if u can install one via usb or if its all done via psn.

You were half right, you cant use HDMI lead without HDCP but the composite works fine, just not as good quality. Im using VGA 720p not scart, I think scart is only 526i.

I should have just bought a HD fury for 60 quid but oh well this will do for now.

Screen isn't very bright, and the brightness level doesnt help any, however when I click auto-colour adjust the screen flicks into a really clear picture then flicks back to the original dark ^_- oh well.

I think its the backlight level that goes down, but I have no way of adjusting that in the menu.

Tried the AV to VGA cable today and it works great with no HDCP, 720p. Cable cost £19.99.

First time ive used a ps3 its great! Now i need to find demon souls, got Infamous and Uncharted 2 bundle with ps3 slim, couldn't find demon souls though :(

thanks mate, I may try both of them options, HDMI -> DVI cable being my first choice but I read you needed HDCP whether it was for games or bluray!
