I was expecting alot from Final Fantasy XV when I watched Kingsglaive. But after knowing what the hell just happened to Lunafreya and other female characters in the game I'm passing onto Horizon: Zero Dawn - atleast that has a badass female protagonist!

Luna was refrigerated to give the main Hero angst for revenge - as if the cold murder of his father - King Regis, destruction of his home city Insomnia, people of Insomnia becoming refugees wasn't enough to put him into action.

Cindy was relegated to the role of eye-candy for horny teenagers. She's sneaks around Nifleheim's base but Hajime Tabata could'ne even make her hijack an enemy airship which would've given her a more deeper role in the narrative than what we got.

Iris is the ultimate anime girl crushing on her older brother's hot friend. While we hear about her becoming a badass demon hunter in the 10 year time skip, nothing is shown.

Aranea although being the badass mercenery she is, I don't understand why her armour reveals her cleavage where she can easily take a hit and get fatally injured.

All in all, no female party member joining the band of brothers permanently on the road trip is a major put off on its own. Women love road trips, greasy food and selfies too you know Hajime Tabata. And Women can blend as well with the male cast. Happened in previous Final Fantasies why not in this one?

Another bummer is that the female characters don't interact with each other at all. As if Luna, Iris, Aranea and Cindy don't cherish or long for female company and have real Women heart-to-heart talks as well not just silly conversations about boys in their life.

Including permanent female party members; Luna, Aranea, Iris, Cindy. Yeah, why not all four join in the road trip. That's a great idea. That would've given the story more edge than what Hajime Tabata achieved in the present. He managed to marginalize 50% of Final Fantasy fanbase that comprises of female gamers.

@sladakrobot: It includes female characters, just that they're not playable and they don't interact with each other. But yeah, they should've been playable with longer in-depth background stories and heavy character development in the game story.

Knew that Final Fantasy XV would tank to the bargain bins by the end of 2016. Such is the fate of an unfinished game with false promises. Square Enix and FFXV Devs could learn alot of lessons from this. Perhaps re-work the entire FFXV's plot. Just saying.. you know...

@putaspongeon: Sir, if it was advertised as a Action Open-world Multiplayer game with Hamlet meets Greek Mythology then it would have been fine that people didn't react strongly to it.

But it was Advertised as a Action RPG and it doesn't even feel like one, the story is short compared to most AAA RPG titles. Even the newest trailer "Ride Together", adding that Eminem Rap song to it gives the feeling that it has some Milennial-ish, Hip and youthful vibe to it. Which is false advertising.

It's simple. SQE Lied. Alot of people are disappointed with it. Just visit the FFXV Official forums. Just look at the sales figures. It's doing worse than FF13 in Japan and UK.

Though you like, good for you. Hope you enjoy it.

@putaspongeon: Sir, before I played this, I felt this would be GOTY material. But after spending a week into it, it's fetch quests take the immersion into the world Eos out of the gameplay experience. It's not GOTY 2017, Probably Horizon will beat this in the category. FFXV doesn't even deserve a nomination.

Judging by how cheaply they added the Kingsglaive and Omen trailer scenes and called them 'story enhancements', I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but they're going to be cheap when adding those extra content/scenes.

Basically they try to waste as much of your time and money as possible, tricking you into buying a Useless third-party guidebook to tell you the history of Eos and its timeline, buying chocobros DLCs, and probably future playable characters that they've defined their 'long-term goal'. You can say goodbye to your 2-3 years, just expecting things out of them that they'll never give you anyway. SE is just trying to move on and shove this under the carpet as quickly as they can, so they can move on to their next title. Which, judging by how fans are disappointed, will be total flop.

Not falling for Square Enix's lie again. Totally ditching the 'free' updates this time. They will be minimal and will not help either the game or it's disastrous story.

That's how yo respond to fan's worries and concerns. Unlike a recent FFXv debacle we had. Seriously so over the FF series now. Their Director didn't even manage to talk to the fans. Now Neil is the kind of director every game needs these days.

@fedor: I don't see any logic between 'growing up' and pointing at your senseless attack on the author. But, guess a man-child you can only say such a thing when they have nothing better you say. What next you're gonna up with swear words?
