Assassin's Creed

The beginning of a beautiful and exhilarating series of adventures. In itself a good game, but more appreciated by me as a platform for the launch of a great series. This game was good, especially the final boss fight. Altair was a good protagonist. The assassination sequences and missions got a little repetitive. Like I said, I appreciate this as a good game and one that paved the way for the entry of Ezio Auditore Da Firenze.

Assassin's Creed II

Welcome, Ezio Auditore Da Firenze! One of the greatest in-game characters of all time. One of my favorite protagonists in any story in whatever form. Great story, very touching. Great gameplay and missions. Absolutely terrific music by Jesper Kyd. Loved it!

--

Assassin's Creed III

Good game. Didn't like the protagonist Connor as much as I wanted to. Didn't have that same raw magnetism that drew me to Ezio. The story wasn't bad, but not great either. Liked the character of his father and the 'father vs son' angle of the storyline. Decent game.

--

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Very good game BUT not great. Didn't like the last 25% or so. Ended abruptly, didn't like the ending. Till then the story was fine. Gameplay is excellent as are the visuals. The naval gameplay is sensational. I spent hours on the open seas, just exploring and conquering other ships and harpooning great white sharks and finding sunken treasure. Good game, but story could have been better.

--

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Very Good. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Great story, very good gameplay. Enjoyable missions. I got a little bored around the middle for a short while, but let that not take anything away from what is a very good game.

--

Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Excellent. Loved it. Continues the Ezio tradition and concludes his story in an excellent and very touching manner. As usual, an excellent story, great missions and great music. Great game!

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Absolutely brilliant! The age of Batman begins for the gaming world! Loved the game, the story, the visuals. Scarecrow and Killer Croc along with Joker were my favorite villains in the game. S.U.P.E.R.B.

Batman: Arkham City

LEGENDARY! Outdoes the first, which was in itself perfect! Superb story, brilliant ending, great graphics, fighting mechanics as brilliant as ever. Joker and Penguin my favorite villains in the game. Oh, and loved the Jaws bit! ;)

--

Batman: Arkham Origins

Very Good....BUT, not as good as its predecessors! Good story, great fun to have the Joker back again. Most of the villains were engaging. Visuals were good. The game engine i.e. the fighting mechanisms, same as before - brilliant! But it could have been better. Not as gripping or breathtakingly awesome as the first two.

Dragon Age: Origins

Quite possibly my favorite game of all time. In years to come, I'm sure that this game will be considered one of the greatest of all time, along with The Last of Us. Again, what a story! Breathtaking. The storytelling and narrative is also phenomenal. The interaction with the game world is sensational. The interaction levels with the in-game characters is a treat. The greatest game with a fantasy setting in my book. The characters are so lovable and so well written, its amazing. I'm completely in love with Morrigan. The romance options in BioWare games are also the best and second to none in the world of video games. Legendary game.

Grand Theft Auto V

A whole lot of fun! Very good story. The best instalment in the series. Much better than GTA IV in every regard. Driving was a treat, and the visuals and the beautiful in-game world made driving from one place to another one of my favorite parts of the game. The story was also very good. The 'three protagonists' bit was a masterstroke in my opinion. The selection of vehicles was also excellent. More of the same in GTA VI please!

Homefront

L.A. Noire

It's different! Good game. Bit boring at times. Not for everybody. Managed to finish it. Liked Cole, liked his love-interest. Didn't like the ending. The reading of facial expressions part was an interesting addition to video games but needs work. Got a bit repetitive. Beautiful visuals, and a lovely recreation of 1950s Los Angeles. Music was good. Good game.

Red Dead Redemption

Bleh! Didn't like it as much as I wanted to. First game I played set in the wild west, and I was expecting something like The Good The Bad and The Ugly, and I got this. Fell way short of expectations. The story was decent, and the gameplay was fluid but hours of meaningless and repetitive missions, which were neither engaging nor gripping, had me very bored and waiting for the game to end. Dissapointed.

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

The Last of Us

Simply put - one of the greatest games of all time! Possibly second only to Dragon Age Origins in my book. What a STORY!! Phenomenal. Absolutely sensational. Rarely do you come across a story so deeply moving and touching and with so many messages on so many different levels. The game does a great job of exploring the depths and colors of human emotion. It is a story of loss, love, trust and hope. Add to that excellent graphics and excellent gameplay mechanics that you have come to expect of Naughty Dog after the Uncharted Series. I will never forget this game, for as long as I live.

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II

--

The Witcher

--

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

--

Tomb Raider

Very good. Does a great job of rebooting a classic and much-loved franchise. The game has definitely taken tips from the Uncharted series, as the action is similar in some ways. The story is good and manages to keep you interested till the end. Good game, enjoyed it.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

One of the greatest of all time. The first game I played of this series. Fell in love with it immediately. What an opening - with the whole train in the Himalayas sequence. If the first one was brilliant, then this one is S.E.N.S.A.T.I.O.N.A.L. What makes this series so great, is that not only is the story great, but the gameplay, with buildings crumbling all around you and you jumping from edge to edge, is so realistic, that you feel like you are actually doing those things. Great to have Elena back. Naughty Dog, with this series, has, in my opinion, established itself as one of the leading video-game developers in the market.

--

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Excellent! Keeps the Uncharted flag flying HIGH! The same things that made the first two games in the series brilliant, especially the second one, are all present in this one. Great story, excellent, high-flying action (the plane part was particularly brilliant), greater graphics, great characters, great voice acting. Brilliant.

--

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Indiana Jones of the gaming world! Need I say more? Absolutely brilliant and serves as predecessor for two of the greatest games of all time. Brilliant graphics. Brilliant gameplay. Edge-of-the-seat action. A rollercoaster ride. Brilliant Story. Immediately legendary hero - Nathan Drake. What a game. Loved it!
