@inferiorego: WWE itself was relabeled from WWF which was relabeled from WWWF, but they are all the same franchise, they are all the same thing, a re-branding doesn't make you into a completely new thing, the WWE championship didn't start in 2002 and its linearity is the same as the WWF championship's was.

And a game being designed from ground up doesn't mean a thing. Breath of the Wild was designed from ground up. Still Zelda.

SmackDown! > SmackDown > SmackDown vs. RAW > WWE (12, 13) > 2K

They are all the same line of games.

That's wrong, SmackDown! Just Bring It had 8 man matches 16 freaking years ago and it's incredible it hadn't come back since....

And yes, SmackDown! and 2K are the same franchise.

Roman has been reunited with Rollins already, remember how that went? It was an awkward "boo this guy and chant for that guy" scenario and nothing will change with Ambrose in. There are people asking for full Shield reunion, but the damage done to Roman is unrepairable. And Rollins n' Ambrose are doing much better without him, but heck, we all know Vice will try everything to get his mistress cheered, so it's just a matter of time....
