I have a logitech "Rumblepad 2" gamepad and it works with my ps3. So maybe you have an Logitech pc controller that works with your ps3 aswell, without knowing it. THe only problem is that the r2 en l2 trickers on the gamepad aint pressure senitive and you dont have a home button. And the rumble fuction aint working. and no sixaxis control. And it is wired. If you can live with all those point and wanna pay like half the price of a DS3 give it a try.

Killzone 2 is selling like sweet pie, so there may be a change that eight days and The annouced Getaway game will see the light someday. I sure hope so. I just wanted you to know. The article is a couple of months old, so I am sorry if you allready seen the article. But when they wroth it they didn´t know if killzone would sell, but we know it now
If can get them for the same price( I dout it, or the notebook with the 9600m is way overpriced)and youre a real gamer you should get the one with the 9800. This is highend for a laptop. The only problem with notebook is that the mobile gpu's get outperformed by the desktop counterparts. But you almost cant get an better mobile gpu at this point. Its your choice. If you want a notebook for mobility use you should not take a notebook with a 9800 card(uses alot of energy). The 9600m gt is good but not the greatest. My myself would be happy to have a 9600m gt. This card should play any game out there on medium gfx on 1280x800 resolution without AA. Some game can run on full setting and others on low. Its your choice. Also look for some gpu benchmarks online.
I also have this problem, but i have a Linksys router. I now use a wired connection, what solved the problem. If no one gives you the solution, i would suggest setting up a wired connection. My ps3 is very close to my router so I had no problem with using a wire.
I did not read any of the other message and am sorry when I repeat someone. Try connection your ps3 with a utp wire(internet cable). If that solves the problem your ps3 or router is incorrect configured to properly work wireless together. I had the same problem, but sinds my ps3 is like 4 inch away from my router, It not that big of a deal using a cable.
More than half of the people who posted on your topic don't know what they are talking:
Check your manual if your dvi input is hdcp compatible. If not, you cant use a hdmi to dvi cable to connect it with your ps3, cause it wont work. People who say that all widescreen monitor are hdcp compatible are talking ****. You can also connect the ps3 to your vga (d-sub) input. You only have to buy a 30$ cable(price is includes shipping). Go to ebay and search for "ps3 vga". There you'll find a cable that you can use for a wii and ps3. I use it myself and it works great. You'll get a 720p image quality. Not many people know that this cable exist. The only problem is that you can't watch normal dvd's with it. Check on youtube and search for "ps3 vga".The ps3 will thing its using a component cable.
[QUOTE="emitsu97"]It's the 40GB system with an 80GB HDD.WhyuStillAlivestill a good deal. It comes with DS3.
You think it comes with a ds3, but you said other wise in your previous post. Theres always a change the ds3 can be included but nobody said so.
