I took my sister and nephew to see this opening night, definitely a cool film to see in theaters.

Warning very light and purposely vague spoiler warning:

Now if you loved it, I could see it, I really, really, wanted to love this film, but the more time that has gone by I just get stuck on something, so without giving it away, the film works very hard to establish a "Cardinal Rule", it spends a lot of the film making sure we really understand it, O.J. actually uses this rule to save his own life, now unless something went way over my head (pun sort of intended) the movie ends with the sister breaking the rule, which makes the last scene harder for me to understand, anyone else catch this? Did I miss something?

Hint in case I was too vague, it involves strings and colored triangles.

I have all three in this particular series and have played some of the titles from before, which get gentle nods here within, and I can safely say, this series is the Neo Genesis Evangelion of JRPGs, only the Persona/Shin Megami Tensei series gets even close, but focuses more on interpersonal relationships, were as the Xenoblade series is about being brave in the face of just sheer scale of conflict with some light character development.

Either way, so grateful for this current trilogy! :D
