I remember playing this game on the PC back in the day. Scariest game ever! I used to play with headphones on and the cheap scares always made me jump off my seat screaming. I dropped my keyboard so many times! Anyways... how is the 3D? I want to buy this game on PS3 just for the 3d as I'm a BIG fan of stereoscopic 3D tech.

I can't speak for the PS3's 3D for this game as I own it for PC but here is my opinion on it:

The 3D is really fantastic. It is better than mosy games. However, I still think Sonic Generations has the better 3D. On the PC, you can select side by side 3D, Top and bottom 3D, Quad buffer 3D (I think it's for those with Nvidia 3D).

The 3D effect had a slider that you can adjust, which is half way up by deafult. I put it up just a bit more as having it on full 3D, I feel like my eyes have to slightly cross to see it in proper focus.

The problem with the PS3 3D however, is the HORRIBLE loading times for loading and saving. on the PC it takes about 4-5 seconds to load a new level, here is a video of someone showing the loading on PS3:

i havent got any psp games that i regret yet

At the moment my psp is fine so why the hell would i spent money on one thats lighter and smaller, besides the psp is a good size and any smaller, i could picture my hands getting cramps, but if my psp breaks then ill wait for the price to go down :P

also because its smaller the components will be closer togeather and this will cause it to be more dellicate.

there was the regular ps then the ps1 which was smaller, ps2 then ps2 slimline, psp and now psp slim i bet 34902633 dollars that there will be a ps3 slim, should be intresting :)

my psp reads the umds like any other psp but the sound of them spinning is loud, i try to use head phones so i don't notice it as much but some games are worse than others like SC essentialls was loud and daxter was more quiet.

any ideas in how to keep it quiet?
