I would like to say that I did like this movie, but I was disappointed in it at the same time. I agree with the general complaint, in that the pacing was bad. It took so long to get to what we all wanted to see. The payoff was enjoyable, yet very brief and not well executed. There were some issues with the characterizations, plot and some of the finer details of the movie. However overall, the movie managed to makeup (somewhat) for it's downsides, and at the end of the day I found redeeming qualities in it. I just hope that with the upcoming JL they manage to grab people and draw them in before the last half of the movie.

@camverge: I can. You see to me the prequel trilogy had more depth than the original trilogy. I honestly don't see why everyone hates on the prequels. I have read different complaints ranging from too much cgi, to bad acting all the way up to Jar Jar. However I can't find enough to condemn those movies.

Great, the franchise needs him back. I don't care how much money it made. That movie failed in many ways.

@mi_hung_lo: First off I didn't literally mean to suggest that Konami actually try & stop him. I was being a smart ass because Konami has been very unjust with Kojima. Secondly I do follow the site, I knew that his contract was up. Lastly it seems you don't understand when someone is being literal or when they're being sarcastic, so I hope this is a lesson to you. You need to loosen up man, you sound like you're an uptight individual.

@abHS4L88: Yeah, and I'm not surprised by her inclusion really. I had a shred of doubt that she might be included due to the mature nature of her games. However I concur with what you said, her 2nd game is exclusive to Nintendo and they're associating that fact with this game. The smash ballot was always gonna end with a 3rd party character coming out on top. When they open the ballot to "ANY" video game character, the most likely of characters are gonna be 3rd party. Nintendo has included all of their biggest and baddest 1st party characters already, everyone else on their roster are 2nd rate. These characters never had a chance. It's all good though, Bayonetta is in and most people are probably ecstatic about it.

I do understand what he's saying, however you do have to listen to the fans. It's the fans that are paying the bills and it's the fans that will come back for more, not the casual gamers. I can't imagine how much backlash these guys get with these big franchises, and in a lotta ways I wouldn't wanna be them. They have a lot to live up to and deliver on, and with each new installment that becomes even more challenging. I do agree with the people who say that Nintendo should be focusing on their own characters over 3rd party ones however. We have more than enough 3rd party characters in smash, we didn't necessarily need Cloud or Bayonetta for that matter. Don't get me wrong, if it had to be someone I'm glad those two made it but this is a Nintendo game afterall. Their focus should be to bring as many of their characters front and center as they possibly can, especially the ones that are back cataloged. This way they can revitalize old or 2nd rate franchises. I understand fans are diverse and many want more & more 3rd party characters and some want less and some may agree with me so I understand the issue of trying to satisfy everyone, while trying to be creative. So major props to these guys!

@Daveof89: what was your biggest gripe with the movie? I didn't like the epic fail of a death for Solo nor did I like Kylo Ren.
