[QUOTE="SpaceMoose"]They should all just jump ship and make a new gaming site. I mean, the site is its editors at the end of the day.xboxdudeman800
Agreed
That would be great if they could do something like that. I don't think there is much chance of it though :( I still think that despite how hard it must be for them to give up on Gamespot, they should do it, the Execs from CNET have let them down imho so why should the Gamespot staff show them any loyalty. I hope they do it for there own sakes rather than stay where they are and work in an atmosphere of fearing getting fired.
This is certainly very sad. I know that non of us know the full facts about what happened, and probably never will. I just think that the fact they pulled the video review speaks for itself. I've been a member for nearly 3 years and Gamespot has always been the first place I go to to get reviews and feedback on games. That has all changed in the last few days, I just don't see how I can ever trust gamespot again. No matter what happens or what CNet do now, I will always have that seed of doubt in my mind that anything I read on here is being done so as not to upset the paymasters.
I enjoyed Jeff's reviews, I might not have always agreed with them, but I respected his opinion and he always seemed willing to tell things as he saw them. I feel really sorry for the remaining Gamespot staff and forums mods and admins, this must be quite hard on them at the minute. It doesn't change the fact that this is something that cannot be undone and so I will be looking for a new place to go too in future for my gaming info fix :( sad times.
