It's not a stagnant system, so of course it won't. That's why it doesn't have any generations as well. lol!!
Pc's are constantly evolving every weak. You think you have the Highest HIGH-END Gaming PC ever. Nope, you don't. There's always some better then what you have when it comes to PC's.

And? Should it matter to you as a player? I mean, you can still play almost anything (crysis 3 doesn't count) on the highest settings (1080p, not 4k, obviously.) with a gtx670. It's far from being the fastest gpu, but it still beats anything on consoles (even ps4 and xbox one).
We heard several gens ago how 720p and HD didn't matter from consolites.

and Now... Yeah the trend will always repeat itself until the always-behind consoles get that specific resolution or fps.

Last gen consolite said : why would I want 64 player online? It just doesn't make sense. I am fine with 16. 64 is too overcrowded. This gen consolite said : I don't care if BF4 will look worse on consoles. 64 player online is the only thing that matters to me.
I just don't understand why doesn't nintendo make a new IP similar to the Elder Scrolls series. Make it a nintendo console exclusive, and that's it. You have a system seller. I'm pretty sure they are capable of doing this.
