@Succumbus There is a bug at the moment with the Monk's regeneration of Spirit.

They have a rune that causes all of the Monk's Crits to give him back 15 Spirit. Then you have Mantra of Healing with the rune that gives 15% HP shield.

Combining the two you have infinite Spirit and you are able to spam the shield continuously. Of course the Armor set up needs to increase the natural regen as well but that is not hard to do with Monk equips.

I have shown this to my monk friend and he just gets people to pay him to rush them through acts or quests in hell/inferno with no problem. I watched him solo Diablo on Hell mode without going below 75% HP.

It is that dumb right now.

So this whole review is done in Normal mode with just a touch of Nightmare?

Oh that is fine and dandy and sure you can change your skills for whatever situation but you forgot to mention that past a certain point in the game your skill bar will only change depending on whether you are soloing or in a party.

You forgot to mention how horribly imbalanced the classes are currently where the Monk can have a full party of players with him and still solo every single creature. Not to mention some classes are stupidly gear dependent, like the Barbarian, where if they don't have the right equips they just die. Over and over and over again.

Bosses are not hard at all, they just do slightly more damage than most normal mobs. Elites are more powerful than bosses. You instantly figure that out when you get swarmed with an Elite that has Horde and Arcane, that is hard.

Overall Diablo 3 is okay. Blizzard better start throwing patches in here.

On a side note: Whatever happened to having to go down a seemingly endless dungeon that is so dark you did not know what was two steps ahead of you while you fight your way into hell?

Having this huge and open world like Diablo 2 takes away from the whole "Oh no the world is coming to an end" deal. It doesn't feel dangerous, there is no sense of urgency or anything like it.
