King Kong. The Darkness (great game!) And in some respects Halo 3. I don't see much love for it, in fact, mostly hate and dismissal =P But it is a really solid shooter with great game play. Ninja Gaiden II? Maaaybe.. I enjoyed the sh!t out of it, but I didn't see much hype or appreciation. Just my opinion though, I could be wrong. But it rocked my socks while for a while.

I've had mine since launch.

I've seen it stop working and have red rings about four times. I just turned it off and back on and it worked again fine.

Still working fine.

I don't get it, are red rings of death supposed to mean its permanently dead? (Which is certainly untrue in this case)

Because otherwise I don't see the big deal.

I've played the demo eight times now. It definately held my attention. The graphics were veeery very impressive *.* It really left me wanting more. The videos of the different enviroments show me that there will be variety which I worried about, so that clears up my only issue :) The story is sounding more intriguing, aided by the unique oppressive sci-fi setting. The icing on the cake was when I heard the theme song which really resonated with me. Definately getting. Not sure why someone wouldn't.

Yup.

There is a leaked torrent of Fallout 3. Its 6.5GB. You need an illegally modded xbox 360 for it to work. I guess there are a lot of criminal gamers. Ugh :(

My 360 has had red rings about five times, and I just turned it off and back on. It still works. I don't get it these 'I got the red rings of death :(".

For me, it doesn't signify the death of the 360. Its like it just had an error and I had to restart it, lol. Maybe I'm just lucky.

The topic made me say, "Oo good question :0".

To the people I saw calling out Gears of war 2 or Epic games, and saying that Resident Evil 5 was for 'real' gamers.. I'm disapointed.

Gears Of War had a bland story, yes, but the gameplay was intuitive and excellent. The multiplayer was worth sticking around for for almost a year. I saw someone say that the multiplayer (online) was repetitive and about rushing to the other side, 'chainsaw, repeat..' I think that that is ridiculous. Go play it now, you will be lancered down, sniped, torque bowed.. I think that you have missed the magic.

Gears Of War 2 looks as though it is going to be the excellent gameplay (extended) coupled with what they are trying to make an engaging and emotional story. The online has been tweaked so that it is more so about flanking and strategy.. I think that you should do your research before making an ignorant comment.

_________

However, I personally do believe that Resident Evil 5 will be a higher quality single-player experience. The intensity and scare factor alone makes the game more engaging and more of a 'rush'. It will be awesome, no doubt.

Its shortcoming in comparison to Gears Of War 2 is addicitve and worth-playing-over-and-over online gameplay, though.

________

I'm going to get them both, however, if I had to choose one. I would choose Gears Of War 2. I'm quite certain that the online gameplay will be of value to me for a long time, and that I will enjoy the single player experience. Possibly even more so than Resident Evil 5, though I doubt it.

I have had no problems and my xbox, the dashboard and options/menus through the guide-button are actually faster and working way better then before. I would have freezing problems before on everything involving the Guide button. Thanks microsoft for the update =D

I've just bought a new guitar and a synthesizer and I can only afford one for christmas. Which one is more immersive and will keep me coming back? I'm content with Halo 3 and Gears of war for online play at the moment, unless Call of duty 4's online play is as amazing as people are telling me. Thankyou~!

Get The darkness if you want a stylized high quality First-person action game with innovative twists and a great immersive-emotive story.

Get Rainbow Six if you want a tactical shooter, with long-lasting online multiplayer with lots of customization and some realism.

Get Ninja gaiden Sigma if you want a hardcore challenging but rewarding pure action game with great graphics, superb animation and an imaginative japanime' style.
