Yes it can be altered and deleted (for people who actually read the last paragraph above). These exact things have historically occured in a wide range of artistic fields. I have been reading up on this topic on many different websites. And I can say that it is not a "small subset of the gaming community" as you mention above Ms Parker.

I agree with Devchi (maybe not as strong). I have always had a lot of faith in Bioware. This just a dissppointment. I loved Dragon Age, and was hoping for a great sequel. On a psoitive note, I might buy it later if patches add more stuff back into the game. But for now, I am just going to "wait and see" on this one. :)

Being one of the people weary of current Gamespot reviews (as they seem tied in to advertising dollars), I find this article a little refreshing. I mainly play MMOs with a monthly charge, but I have also tried many of the free ones also. So I would like to add to Kevin's article. I hope it helps (at least a little). Runescape and Maplestory were really boring in my eyes. They seem OK in the beginning, but quickly get old. Additionally, the community is very young, so it might be OK for your kids to play. The language gets a little rude at times, but mostly aimed at younger people. FlyFF and Shaiya are pretty cool Korean-style free games. You can get hours of enjoyment from these. I liked FlyFF the most between those two. Another one at the same level as these two is Lost Chaos. I thought that Lost Chaos was actually better than FlyFF and Shaiya, but roughly the same kind of game. I am playing Mabinogi right now, and I am liking it. It is one of the new Korean-style games, but less dependent on grinding. I recommend trying it out. Pirates of the Caribbean gets old fast. I cannot imagine why this is on the list, unless you start paying the monthly fee. The amount of content that opens up after you agree to pay is actually quite large, but comes up rather flat if you just want the free version (the same can be said of Runescape).
