First things, this game has a steep learning curve (if you haven't played it, I strongly suggest doing coop against AI's to get used to the gameplay and develop a style of playing) but otherwise has an addicting quality about it. I recommend giving it a try...

I have said this before and will say this again: if you make a great AAA game with great replayability, then you won't need to worry about used games much. If you make an "ok" game claiming it is AAA with trying to get $60 from us, then you will see people returning it a lot and most people buying used. This effing thinking from the publishers where they think that they are entitled to all of the consumers money is BS and is pissing a lot of people off.....

Well this is what they get for what they should have seen as a BS ending; a lose-lose scenario. Now the question is, in which scenario do they lose more?? Also, calling the game a piece of art is no EFFING shield for the fact that they screwed the pooch. Taking the easy way out and saying to let this "piece of art" be is about as bad as calling it a properly thought out piece of art. OBVIOUSLY if there is such a big outcry from so many gamers, there is something the EFF wrong. Usually I don't get pissed at a game in a way that I would be so vocal about it (heck, think this is the first time), but this just takes the cake. Loved the story up until the last 15 minutes, then found out that Bioware added magic and pretty colors to show what a waste my time was and explain nothing. It's kind of amusing, yet sad, that gamers are coming up with the indoctrination theory (which the ending has so many plot holes in it that it is pretty believable) in hopes that Bioware actually had a plan up their sleeve and would do a "Just kidding guys! THIS is the actual end, download it now!". This is probably my longest comment on GS, and congrats if you got through it. But otherwise, this will be an interesting few months (if not a few years) concerning Bioware...

Well... this isn't a game article at all. The one thing that pisses me of is if someone shoves an issue in your face; straight or gay. If I wanted this sort of article, I would go to a different site. Period.

Entirely disagree. They cheaped out with the ending. ME is all about how choices affect the story and I got none of it in those last several minutes. Here's to hoping you didn't get paid by EA for this article...

Well... That ending was a let down. They thought that one out too much. Would've rather had some cool ending that fit better than that (it seemingly kills any chance for another game being set in the ME world we've enjoyed).

The story so far is excellent (nice balance with great humor), the combat is satisfying and the customization is pretty great. But that's where my complements end. They shoehorned in homosexuality to the point where it's awkward, the online pass system is a disgrace considering it has a direct impact to SP (which the impact is a disgrace), I found that the inability to skip some cut scenes/cinematics were annoying at best when it involved redoing something, and the cover system pissed me off to no end because of the lack of polish. They day one dlc doesn't bug me besides the fact that I hear its not the best quality. If they finished the game a month before the release and sent some people to polish it and others to add a dlc, I am fine with that. It is still a great story (so far). So overall I would give the game an 8/10, with the great story (and jokes) keeping it this high. I can't hate a good game, but I can dislike some of the features/implementations...

It's a game, not an effing life simulation. Give the logical choices. I won't care all that much if I can go through the game without so much of a push of it. But when games try to do things that are uncharacteristical of the franchise/time/place, then it pisses me off. Effing "political correctness" messes with every effing thing...
