Did I miss something, or were there only two Vita games announced?

And is it just me, or were both of thos Vita games basically known quantities at this point?

Oh... well... dang. The instructions on redeeming the free session were actually in the box; I claimed it immediately after purchasing the first month. It really isquite misleading though. The box says that you get a free session and a free game, but then you open it up and find out that it's actually a buy-one-get-one-free dealie. Kind of lame in hindsight; the only reason I got this bundle instead of a WiFi model and an 8G card separately was because of the free month and the free game. In reality, instead of paying $10 for Super Stardust, I paid $15, and I don't get to play it for over a month.

I'm not even sure what the heck I'm supposed to do with this 250MB session - You can't watch netflix on 3G, you can't play most multiplayer... I feel like Brewster's Millions... how do I spend this data?

Thanks...

Hey, just got my 3G Vita last night, saw thememory card and the coupon for the free 250MB session. But I didn't see any mention of the free game, aside from the sticker on the front of the box. Anyone here know how we redeem it?

wow you had the same saves as me and the same weapons and upgrade strat as me :P it was a challenge i died on my first brute because he 2 shot me and then died about 4 times from 7-9 (dam that last airlock window) but i felt that the from chapter 10 up it was easier especially the last boss.blaqphantom

Congrats on beating it!

You know, I first played through the game on Zealot, and while it was really hard and I died dozens of times, I never manged to fly out a window.

But.. man... on the hardcore run, I think I flew through every window at least once... Haha, it was really frustrtaing when that happened; instant death is the worst way to go...

Also, I died at the end of Chapter 5 once, when the Tormentor is holding onto you outside the building on the EarthGov gunship; I completely choked up and couldn't remember what to do, and he tore me to shreds.

Once again, congrats on beating it. I was really intimidated by the idea at first, but in the end, it was a really fun and intense mode, huh?

I'm looking forward to the challenge on offer in the inevitable Dead Space 3.

I just finished Hardcore Mode last night. I at first had a really difficult time with it (kept dying at the end of Chapter 3 where you get ambushed by the infectors, pukers, and exploders in the plaza), but kind of broke a personal barrier for myself after that. The rest was definitely intense, but rather painless.

I first saved at Chapter 7 right before "the jump," again at the beginning of Chapter 10 right after the escape pod, and finally at the beginning of 13 right after the drill ride. I started by upgrading my health up two notches, and my stasis up all the way. I then powered up the Plasma Cutter and then the Force Gun.

Hardcore Mode really reminded me of Shiren the Wanderer; if you die, you lose everything and go back to the beginning of the game. Power nodes felt a lot like visiting the blacksmith, the randomness of enemy drops and supply crates was similar, and the somewhat rare randomized enemy encounters really felt a bit nostalgic. Like Shiren in Space! More like Rogue Mode...

LOL, I just posted this in a different thread, but boy oh boy, does it apply here: This is merely one man's opinon, but I hated God of War. Not just III, the entire trilogy. It was only earlier this year that I bought the Collection and then later III, but I couldn't force myself to like them. I played them on hard mode, even got the platinum in the second game and damn close in the first game, but by the end of the third game I just had to wake up and admit that, despite the critical success, they weren't my cup of tea. As far a gameplay goes, you'll basically just jam on the attack button, and occasionally roll out of the way. If you die, just restart and jam on the attack button, but roll a bit more than before. It's very button-mashy. But I think it goes a little deeper than that for me. Whenever I play a game like Fallout or something similar with choice, I almost always take the good path, helping people and sticking up for the little guy... I dunno, that's just how I like to play my games. Well, in God of War, whether it's justified or not, Kratos (the so-called "protagonist"), is a jerk. He kills everyone and everything in his path with almost complete disregard, and even recognizes and verbalizes that his anger is somewhat unfounded, yet just continues to kill, kill, kill. By the end of the trilogy, I'm serious, freaking everyone but Kratos is DEAD. I didn't feel good playing the game at all. There weren't any triumphant moments, because I felt like I was the villian. I would suggest Demon's Souls. It's got a reputation for being balls-to-the-wall hard, but it's all hype. The game is pretty easy-going, and it's epic; one of the best games I've ever played. I'd strongly suggest it.

If not that, maybe Ratchet & Clank or the Uncharted games. Those are great.

I'm definitely into Ni no Kuni, and Project Dark, and I'm certainly intrigued by Catherine... but... would you really consider Catherine an RPG?

I bought a PS3 at the tail-end of 2009, so I started off 2010 with a ton of great games - Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time; Uncharted 2; Dead Space, to name a few... After buying God of War III, it helped to show me that I don't like the God of War series at all, and I completely lost interest in Heavy Rain, ModNation, FFXIII, and others days before they released...

For me, the year was saved by 3D Dot Game Heroes, CoD, and Fallout NV.

Does anyone have any idea when the heck this game is coming out? I've checked several sites, and they all have pretty vague dates. GameSpot lists it for "Q4 2010," IGN just lists it as "TBA 2010, " and 1up also just lists it for "2010."

Thing is, I'm looking to get a cheap game to hold me over for a little while. I could always just get this game on the DS, but I'd much rather have the HD presentation, not to mention the trophies :P.

Has anyone heard any rumblings of a more specific date?
