Not sure just recasting is the answer. Show won't be the same, would have been better to just end it completely.

All very good games and not even close to covering everything.

Mario Party, Mario Golf, Turok, Pokemon Snap, Wave Race, Pilotwings, 1080, F-Zero X, Yoshi's Story, Donkey Kong the list goes on.

Companies get all excited about piracy, copyright and what have you then make it impossible to legally acquire a game.

Laughable really. All this will do is encourage people to modify their system to be able to download the game elsewhere and once they can get that game what stops them getting all the other games that the company could still make money off?

@mdign:

Microsoft have a better console sure, but Sony offer a much greater exclusives list which is enough to entice me that direction. Also I don't own a high end computer but like VR so have to use the ps4 to get VR

People complaining about how it looks clearly don't appreciate that not everything is about how good something looks. I'd much rather have a blast playing a downgraded VR game than a generic top of the range graphics but crap AAA release.

Don't worry, eventually graphics in VR headsets will catch up and then you'll get to play the yearly CoD release... Until then you'll just have to miss out on the awesome experiences available on VR.

Must resist... buying a switch...

Nintendo faithfuls being rewarded in spades for their trust. I very much look forward to getting a switch at some point.

It's the kind of game that's hard to play over because once you know the case spoilers it's always going to be a much worse experience on later playthroughs. That being said it's so long ago I can't really remember the details.

If this got released in VR on ps4 I'd certainly rebuy but I still have the ps3 version and dlc pass if I just wanted to play the normal game again so just a definitive edition or hd remaster or whatever they're calling it isn't enough incentive for me at least.

Stupid idea, why would people want to spend $100 on a cartridge to actually play when they can get the original release for less than a third of the price...

Anyway I blame US lawsuit culture for those ridiculous warnings. There's as much chance of a fire with these carts as the old original ones, the only difference is no one is trying to cover their ass over games that are 25 years old. It's pretty obvious that electrical items that are 25+ years old carry a greater risk of problems including fire than your brand new ps4.

PS1 launched in the EU in 1995, PS2 was 5 years later in 2000. PS3 was 7 years later in 2007 and PS4 game 6 years after that in 2013.

Now we've had the pro 3 years after the base ps4 and they think there will be another console after 3 years again?

At this rate might as well get a gaming PC for all the upgrading we're being made to do... Please just go back to making a console that lasts for 5+ years.

@bobbo888: You know the average age of a PS4 gamer is mid to late 20's. There are more gamers on PS4 now who have played crash or at least have seen others playing it or know a lot about it than haven't

I played the originals in the early 2000's and I also attempted to play them again within the last few years but I just couldn't readjust to the blocky graphics and old controls. Having the original games given a modern coat and work on a PS4 is exactly the way to do it.

The best part of this all is that if you wanted to play the originals you'll have to pay £15 for a boxed copy of warped, £16 for a boxed copy of cortex and £20 for the original... Or instead of paying £51 for that and needing another console than PS4 you can get the remaster for half the price.
