@quantumtheo "I'd rather have the good old merchant and gold." Good old merchant? Okay, clearly you're new to the series. I don't get all the hate for RE5. I liked it. And I liked the older ones. What's wrong with them making a different type of game? Like it or not, it's a business and they're going to do what businesses do: put out a product that's going to make money. A more action themed game is going to sell better than a slower, atmospheric game. It's just a fact. If anything, you should give them props for including a more traditional experience with the Leon campaign and separating it from the more intense Christ campaign. I don't remember what Jake's is supposed to be like....
@thibbledorfP Can you read the last part of your comment and really think about what you're saying? Just the "gameplay being authentic" part. Does that make sense to you? Authentic gameplay. Now break that word down: Game. Play. Neither of those words evoke a sense of anything to do with the military. It's a GAME, dude. PLAY it.
@flyinknee91 You realize the game is like, 6 months from release. It will obviously look better by the time it's released. That said, my initial reaction was: "This looks stupid." Upon giving it more thought, it has warmed up to me a little. I think the 4-legged drone things are kind of dumb. What was it, 2025? A little unrealistic that things would be that different in 13 years if you ask me.
