Pretty good review, especially since the OP didn't actually spend the $5/600 on his own console, thus trying to justify the purchase. Bought my own 20gb, and I pretty much agree (although VF5 would've been a bit higher in my book since I never extensively played VF4/Evo).
Got a 20gb and don't regret it at all. I use wired internet if given the choice (unlike Wii), so the wireless card on the 60gb model would've gone un-used. The chrome finish is cheap looking in my opinion, and I have no need for a card reader. I'll be buying a bigger hard drive when it comes time to actually use more than 18gb of space. No regrets!!
$525, 20gb PS3 console ($490 + $35 shipping) $10, HDMI cable (monoprice!) $30, Resistance (my friend played through it and sold it to me) ----- $565. Also bought some BD movies, but that was after the fact.
