a few ideas

1.Red-have pretty much the same attributes, but this time when they go through fire, they light on fire, and when they are thrown at enemies, they catch the enemy on fire

2.Blue-have pretty much the same attributes, but this time when they go through water, they get trapped in a bubble that you can throw to make wet spots where enemys will slip on and hurt themselves

3.Yellow-same thing with red and blue, they pass through electricity and when they are thrown at enemys, they paralyse enemies

4.Purple-now purple pikmin can pass through mud, and when they pass through mud they form into boulders which you can bowl at enemys

5.White-same with red and blue and yellow, they go threw poison, then you can throw that at enemys to poison them

6.Light Blue-they can go through ice, and snow and when they go though it, they can be thrown at enemys to freeze them/wheight =light-medium

7.Black Pikmin-they can go through zero gravity zones, and when they go through zero gravity, they get gravity powers that can cause enemys to float in the air where they are unable to attack weight=medium heavy

8.Pink-they are very VERY light, and can go on clouds, when they go on clouds, they get the power to blow the enemy back when they hit them weight=VERY light

9.Green-they can go through thick grass, when they go through thick grass, they can attach a seed to enemys that can cause a flower to grow on them, turning them into Pikmin for a time weight=medium

10.Gold-Gold Pikmin are only available at and after the end of the game, the pellets are very hard to carry, they produce few of them, but they can go through any enviorments and no be hurt. They also have high defense, high stength, and high jumping, but arent very fast. weight=heavy

We already know pikmin can go through snow via the first course on pikmin 2

zero gravity and clouds are...weird aditions.

gold=shiny yellow, not a new color

and to be honest, adding a new ability to the old pikmin who havn't changed would make the game WAY to easy. They, in turn would have to make the enemies, etc. harder and i REALLY don't want to face any pileated snagrets or even bulbears that are harder.

Black pikmin - Find them the first time you enter the night time (have an onion)

Effect - Can venture out into the night with stregnthened stats, in the day, becomes slowest, weakest, and flower wilts

Effect 2 - The longer it spends on the field, the stronger it becomes - brought out in the day, will be like purple pikmin in stregnth at night and as fast as white

Description - Like white in body shape and size - Orange tinted flower - Unique feature is the large flower to absorb more light during the night.

Green Pikmin - Found in shallow water on the 2nd stage (need yellow first to break the electic fence)(have an onion)

Effect - Is stronger and faster during the day time (making red 3rd in attack and tied with white in speed)

Ettect 2 - If it is a sunny day, the this pikmin will slowly progress into a flower

Effect 3 - can carry bombrocks (yellow can again, also)

Defect - with three plus sides, it needs a downside. Which is why, if one is caught on fire, it can NOT be saved by blowing your whistle like other pikmin. It will die, in all situations unless it runs into water (then it can drown though, lol)

Description - same as black, but instead of the large flower, it has patches on its cheeks used for absorbimg the sun to progess into a flower.

NOTE - some of you are probably saying "having nigh time would ruin the day cycle" well, not if you do it like this. Lets say Olimar, Louie, And another character returns (alot of people want olimars son) to the pikmin planet. You could have olimar and louie go out during the day, and send out the other during the night while oli and louie sleep! Or you could send out all three, but inevtably waste one whole day while they all rest!

As much i want it to be pikmin, i have to agree with the person above me.

Pikmin is too imortant to announce in an obsolete was of getting info ;)

I though the game was really good!

But it did get VERY boring and the some of thw dungeons would have been impossible to beat if i did not have a guidebook.

But, i ranked it as awesome because of one thing, midna. She was awesome and totally needs to return in the next zelda game. Even if it is a breif or minor appearance. So midna basically took it from int was good, to it was awesome.

I loved Super mario 64, and still do - simply the best game of all time.

Well, that and the pikmin games ;)

100% agreed, once pikmin finally makes the full transition to the wii (and DS if possible) Then i think that it can finally be included as one of nintendo's best franchises (Zelda, Mario, Etc.)
