@nate1222 The ironic part is Sylvia is one of the better female video game characters of this generation if only because of how she challenges Travis' libido throughout No More Heroes. The chemistry between the two characters makes up for alot of the game's humour and I'm a little saddened that this article has misunderstood that notion.
Confusing casual consumers into believing the Wii U is an upgrade to the Wii is one reason why sale are poor yet I'd be more willing to say that interest is limited because it is difficult to argue the value in spending £250 on an under-powered console, with limited HDD storage and with not many distinctive experiences offered by the platform. Sure there are a number of amazing releases out on the horizon but at present the vast majority of Wii U games consist of ports from Xbox 360/PS3.
When you're making awful decisions like including the Wii Fit Trainer or the villager from Animal Crossing, I'm not surprised roster selection is turning out to be so stressful.
An updated re-release of Fable is good for completionists, and ironically, it is still the best in the series. So I'm all for this. I'll be interested to see how it compares to the PC version as well.
Considering how mixed the reactions are towards PS4 and Xbox One, the Wii U looks to be the safest option for consumers during the next generation, with stuff like DRM at a minimum. I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way, so Spector may not be wrong.
If it means we see more Ratchet and Clank and less fodder like Fuse, I would seriously encourage Sony to buy-out Insomniac Games before it is too late.
