I think it may have to do with the SJW environment/mindset that's plagued the studio. These people(men and women) being hired are not talented, don't understand why people loved the original Halos and probably don't know a thing about Halo. This is why 343's Halos are widely considered soulless, flat, generic, etc.

I think the takeaway from this is that if it was Sony, they would never let them show this shitfest off. Because unlike MS, they have standards and they know people aren't gonna care about 4k if the game looks like Minecraft.

There's a petition going around asking for 343 to delay for another year. Imagine needing more time after 5 years.
