Yep, Cryengine puts it to shame. Hell, there are close to a dozen new technologies that no other engine even has. Comparing Cryengine 2 to UT3 is like comparing the 360 to the wii.

Even Mark Rein of Epic said Crysis graphics will be as good as it gets for awhile.

LOL, yeah right, funny. Cryengine 2 has barely been tapped. There are settings that they have not even allowed yet. It is FACT, no engine currently on the market touches it, sorry, but it is. No other engine has what Cryengine2 does, and I hoghly doubt UT4 will be out for a long time. By the time it is, Cryengine 3 will be out and blow that out of the water. Crytek are master at tech, it is what they started off doing.

Baseless posts? It is a fact tht cryengine 2 is more advanced then anythging out, get real and do some research. It has technology no other engines have, it is by far more advanced and looks better. This is fact and cannot be opinion.

Umm, the only blind fanboy is the console fanboy coming here are trying to say an inferior engine looks better then a much more advanced one, is it because consoles can't run Cryengine 2 the way a PC can and UT3 is the best a console can do? Have you actually tried USING either of the engines to make stuff or have you just played the games. I have both UT3 and Crysis and tried both the editors, and out of the 2 Cryengine Sandbox 2 editor is so much easier and quicker to use.rb2610

I also call BS, no hardware on the planet can run Crysis on 1620 X 1200 with 4 aa and be playable, maybe a tri-sli system. Someones a lier.

This is a foolish topic, there is no comparison, the view distance, interactivity, and sheer detail of cryengine blows ut3 away, not even in the same ballpark. Do u see any UT3 games with large open levels, tress fully detailed? No, they are all dark small areas with little physics or interactivity.

Yes, I have, and Gears, they pale in comparison to Crysis even with some setting slowerd on lower resolutions. Get real. The detail is totally weak in UT3 in comparison. Everything in the distance has a grain filter as detail degrades, lack of big levels and interactivity, lack of detail (No parrralax mapping), no subsurface scattering, i could go on. It can't compete.
