Rockstar sure used to be a PC developer, but since the PS2 and GTA3 came out, console always has been the preferred.

Most Rockstar games release on consoles first, before PC. There really is no reason to complain now that they don't port games to PC anymore.

Mac is better for editing IF the user is already familiar with those software on mac, which they used before.

Since switching to a whole new OS, getting use to new editing software takes time and will NOT be efficient for work.

If they want to get a computer to start learning simple editing and then move on to complex, then go Windows for savings and better specs.

But the differences are not significant when comparing editing experts of both platforms. So this comes down to personal preference.

if he wants a gaming computer and is familiar with PC software regarding editing and such, PC is definitely the way to go.

If you are in the UK, then buy the entry level 15". It's the most bang for your bucks with any macbook pros. Also fit right in your budget 1499 pounds

the 2.4ghz i5 will do you wonders with anything mac related, gt 330m will give you medium settings on recent games quite well (in windows though)

it has got to be gta 4 series (main + eflc) approx 150hrs

close behind is fifa series (9 + 10) approx 100hrs

then killzone 2 somewhat off in comparison 50hrs

I would vote for neither. I'd rather get another game this holiday season (new vegas comes to mind).

and then get KillZone 3 next february. kz3 is gonna be better than both MoH and CoD

(I may be a bit high since I've just start playing kz2 again. it's awesome)
