1. Just because it doesnt have have the power doesnt mean it is not 7th gen.
2. Techincaly PS3, Xbox 360 and wii are not next gen anymore, the 7th gen is current gen, the 8th gen is now next gen
3. Of course the next zelda wil come to wii. It hasnt had a proper (i.e not ported from GC) zelda game to itself yet.

Well the Wii's lifespan should be about 5 to 6 years and they already said they have been working on the next Zelda for over a year I would think it will be on the Wii.wooooode

I think the next Splinter Cell will most likely be released on the next gen consoles, so can Wii handle it?

I was thinking to buy Wii, but if the next Zelda will not be out on Wii, i'm gonna keep my GC and buy Twilight Princess on GC, and just wait until the next gen Nintendo console comes out with the ultimate Zelda game. I'm a Zelda freak!

Can Wii play all GameCube games? Or is it like Xbox360, which can play some Xbox games but not all?
