No, people argue because they care. Most guys here want the new box to be good, the 360 was great, why not the new box as well?I for one don't mind Microsoft already decided for me that I'll love to watch TV on the box connected to my TV-- that's been doing the exact same thing--to watch TV.But why all the high profile pro-DRM moves? And why the region lock and 24hr online checks? To combat piracy? PS3 managed a 6 year no-pirate world record without Such things, why now? These things are unnecessary inconvinents forced on legit gamers, it's backwards , not next-gen.
It's just like saying we should all go to jail in order to prevent crime.
It'll sell in the millions, that's for sure . So did the Sega Dreamcast. But MS is pushing too hard, trying to decide for the consumer on how the future will be.
Well it almost sound like both sony and MS didn't expect the ps4 and xbone to be ready so soon, but the market calls and it became vital for them to put something up in the show ASAP.
So both consoles seem abit rushed, with rough edges here and there but Sony , being a consumer electronics giant was better prepared and managed to tease first in Feb and then show the actual console on E3 while Microsoft, caught almost completely off guard stitched together a show with suspicious laptops and manly intel/NVIDIA i7+GTX 780 based stage demo units instead of a 'comparable spec' box1 devkit supplied by AMD.
lol and I just shown the pics to a tech geek and he's confident that the PC in picture is an INTEL i7 sandy-bridge-E CPU based rig with NVIDIA GTX680 or 780 GPU, a very manly highend custom rig and nothing to do with anything from AMD.
