I dont really understand what everyone's problem is, if you want games to be taken seriously they have to be aloud to tackle issues (appropriate or not) as the artists behind them see fit. Whether or not you think this is too soon saying that it is not within the realm of games is the same attitude that got six days in fallujah **** canned which never should have happened. The fact is this particular operation was a NATO victory with no casualties and impressive improvisation on the part of the units involved what is to be so upset about? We celebrate battles from WW2 all the time via games, the afghan setting is actually refreshing as compared to most modern day shooters. Most people are so disconnected from the war they think Afghanistan is a sandy desert now is it the best way to honor the fallen? No absolutely not. Is it a dishonor? Also nope. Quit whining about making money off things, that's what businesses do, no one does something that wont return a profit its how the world works.

@jackson2415 passing sanctions on a country typically has very little to do with whether we like someone or not to get NATO as a whole to say no to something as in the case of the listed countries is just one step away from the UN saying something

@Smokescreened84 @FallenOneX see thats the thing in general the gaming community does, not to sound like an old fart but until very very recently games where the haven of those who where in general considered weird or strange so for the most part we as a community are pretty accepting this is creating a distinction that was never there to begin with

@Smokescreened84 @07jonesj @kirbymaster5 heres the problem with that Devs A) need to make games that will sell B) Devs only make games they want to make and the story and characters have to fit that vision, like it or not the gender roles would end up taking center stage and honestly that wont sell well if it wont sell a producer wont drop the cash and thus no game. Its not the devs its not close minded people its how business works
