What does Alicia Keys' relationship with her dad mean? Is she afraid to tell her dad the truth? Is she willing to fight for what she believes? These are all questions I'd like to have answered before I watch the movie, "My Girl Dad."
The Girl Dad Show with Thomas J. Sennett

Vada has a complicated relationship with her father, who is also an English teacher. However, she is obsessed with her new step-sister, Shelly. Even though her mother had a difficult relationship with Thomas J., she still idolizes him and is determined to win him back. However, she finds that her father doesn't take her eccentric behavior seriously. This causes her to constantly cry out for attention, which triggers her impulsive behavior.

Vada's mother died when she was a child, and her father has to work in a funeral home. She is not allowed to date, and she has a very bad relationship with her father. However, she has a special friend, Thomas J. Sennett, who is an outcast and allergic to everything. Vada is also very close to her uncle, who is a Vietnam veteran. She is a bit nervous, and she and her uncle kiss. Later, Vada is awed by her uncle and finds a mood ring in the basement. During this moment, she meets Tommy, who has a crush on her.
Fred's relationship with his daughter

Fred's relationship with his daughter Daphne is complicated, and the two of them have a difficult history. Daphne comes from a wealthy family who disapproves of her career solving mysteries. She is also jealous of her other male pursuits. Her sisters, Delilah, Dorothy, and Dawn, are successful and engaged to be married, but they all dislike her relationship with Fred. Although Daphne has some doubts about her relationship with Fred, she works hard to make the best of her situation and defend her career. Fred wants to help her get the best out of life, and he sees her as an excellent role model for his daughter.

During the rape of his daughter, Fred asked her to bring the bottles to his room. He left the house when the rape occurred, but his daughter was frantic to see her son. Rose was not present, but she heard her daughter scream, "Don't!" when Fred came home from work. Soon after, her siblings found her writhing in pain, sobbing and pointing at her father. Fred and Rose returned after she was hospitalized. When Louise confided in her mother, Rose said, "Oh well."
Tempie's relationship with her father

Tempie was the only daughter of a married couple. Her mother died in a car accident when she was a small child, and her father later died of a heart attack. After her mother's death, her father took her in with his first cousin, a Portuguese immigrant. They lived in Yonkers, New York, w here Ella excelled in school and wowed her playmates with her singing and dancing.

The couple moved to New York in 1916 and had one child, a daughter named Ella Jane FitzGerald, in 1917. The couple later separated. Tempie later met and married Portuguese-American immigrant Joseph DESILVA. The Girl Dad Show had another daughter, Frances, in 1923. Tempie's relationship with her father did not last. She worked as a laundress and attended Bethany African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Thomas J.'s relationship with his daughter

In the film Trauma Conga Line, Texas attorney Thomas J. Henry's daughter Vada is a hottie and a student of fashion design. She has appeared in music videos, walked in couture fashion shows, and dated One Direction's Liam Payne. She was recently spotted with Payne in London and he even commented on a photo of Vada that Henry posted on Instagram. The two were first introduced at one of the band's meet-and-greet events.
