it ALWAYS freeze in the middle of the movie, but says its attempting to read media, but doesnt

and after i restart i reboot my xbox and i re-insert my dvd, it just says "open tray" instead of "play dvd"

where/how can i fix it? i bought it off ebay a year ago so i dont have a warranty and it didnt have this problem before and the unit i bought was brand new.

btw, if i dont have the warranty, will it be crazily expensive?

thanks

If you have Cable internet then you have a coax cable (like tv) that goes from the wall to your cable modem (and possibly split to your TV) from the modem you will have an ethernet cable that goes over to your computer right now. You will either need to move it back and forth between the computer and the 360 or get a router to split the ethernet connection.

So right now you have:

Wall Jack ---> Cable Modem ---> Computer

You really want:

Wall Jack ---> Cable Modem ---> Router ---> Computer

Router ---> 360

IMO, i think the Apollo PSP Video Converter and the CloneDVD Mobile by slysoft are the way to go

i use apollo to change from rmvb or other formats to MP4, and i use clonedvd to change dvds directly to MP4. both are really quick

and the best thing about apollo is that it can manage batch converting, so u can just load in a whole series and let it do its job overnight, it will also turn the PC off by itself after the job is done

what do u guys use?

ur mom is right, it does take power for the clock when its plugged in, but the amount is close to zero and by plugging it, even in a year, it will probably drive ur bill up $2 bucks (thats a VERY generous guess) so somehow ur mom is right, but shes wrong....lol
