I'm sorry, but I'm from a family that has had each generation in the military as far back as I know. I however did not join.

I find the military is just a tool, used by the crappy politicians, slave owners if you will, that used people's hopes and dreams to get a better paying job than most of whom they "represent".

I can see the tangent and how he feels, but we must say, the military romanticizes war.
