after many threads like this, i come to believe that the problems the launch consoles had are a little exagerated, i mean i see that many of you have bought a launch console still have and have had`ZERO problems. why was the launch 360 problems such an issue, arent all consoles like this. first batch may have some issues to be fixed? alushe18

Thats what I thought until mine and three of four friends with launch systems died within the last 3-4 months.

I want to play sonic, but the GC has a sonic compilation disc that would have more games.  Does the wii stretch GC games to fill a widescreen hdtv?

You can but they can only play on your system.
If something goes wrong with your system or you buy another Wii and want to change the games you have to contact Nintendo and tell them what you want to do so the games can be transferred to the new console.

This is yet another reason to register at Nintendo.com
