I bought a PS3 with LBP2. Biggest disappointment of the gen. It ranks just below FFXIII and Heavy Rain with the worst games I've played this gen. Looks great, but controls absolutely awful. As a platformer it completely fails. The customizability is cool, but loses all its meaning as it's not underlined by a good game.

I'm pretty sure in says in the Bible, "Thou shall not listen to techno."
In all seriousness, I agree with your sentiments. Everybody should just listen to what they like.
Welp. Hell it is then. Live would suck without it.

Listened to a bit of that. Too repetitive for my tastes, but undoubtedly better sounding than all that cheap-sounding techno out there.

There's a reason actual Techno is repetitive though. It has almost hypnotic effects that can help you forget what you're doing and just dance the night away in bliss. (Polyrhythmic) techno, funk and maybe house make for the best party music.

I do like some electronic music, but I do have to say I find the vast majority of it that I've heard to be soulless.

That's fine, everyone got their own tastes. But come on, don't say that someone has to listen to other genres as if listening to electronic music is wrong. That's just stupid.

You wot m8? I like some modern music but that is just not even something I heard of, sounds like some stuff you drop acid to and stare at the ceiling fan. Anyways, you should really consider listening to other genres.

Are you really that dense? Damn, you could use going to a good rave.

Not even that.

My music preference consists of techno, most notably from ParagonX9 and Kisune^2, with some epic operatic scores form Two Steps from Hell and such. Both of which came around in that decade, so yeah.

I raise a Red Hot Chili Peppers - Around the World

Sorry, but it's not as good. The basic bassline of the Daft Punk song is rather simple (just running through major scales) but once it kicks in to gear it's really off the hook. Almost impossible to play though.

Its not impossible to play, if anything Flea's bass parts in any chili peppers song is impossible to play. Plus I'd take Funk Rock over house any day.

Flea's parts actually aren't the easiest, but far from the hardest either. That bassline from daft punk is killing because of its speed. And the RHCP around the world bassline is really far from their best. Anyway, I also love this Squarepusher wizardry: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lq-BPomrsxo And that's on a fretless bass.

Pokemon on the DS has made Nintendo more money then the entire app store combined. Just to put some things in perspective.

Games like FF13 and Heavy Rain, which are completely and utterly **** outside being pretty (Hell, Heavy Rain didn't even look good) get an 8.5 on gamespot. On the other hand, a great Wii game like Skyward Sword gets a 7.5. Obviously, the standards for Wii are way, way higher.

Heavy rain had a good story, good characters and good gameplay? It was terrible on all these fronts, probably the worst gane I played this gen.
