Of games that actual games shown (all casual trash brushed aside), I definitely didn't like hte looks of RE6. Dead Space 3 wasn't very impressive either. God of War Ascension looked okay but it didn't really look like anything more than 'just another GoW game"

After seeing comments of people talking about the difference of Dead Space 3 to the first two I decided to check out the first two to get a feel of what the games are like in comparison and it looks like once again like Splinter Cell the developer has gone away from the games roots which made it successful in the first place to cash it in and make a more action orientated game for the masses.

Splinter Cell Blacklist-Totally changed for the worst, I never played the last Splinter Cell because it looked to be heading the more action less stealth way imo which is a shame because I really enjoyed Double Agent on the 360 and the original 3 on the PS2 and original Xbox they were really good games and are great examples of what a stealth game should be like.

I will give it time to see what it has planned coming towards it's first full year on the market so E3 2013 will be the deciding point for me on the WiiU but after this showing and what it has coming I'm not in the slightest bit convinced and neither do most of the people on here considering a WiiU unless your a die hard fan of course.

It certainly never done it any favours but there is still plenty of team between now and November/December for it's release date to announce games so it's not all doom and gloom but I certainly won't be buying one at launch but I never buy systems at launch so this is no different. Wait until around 6 months after it's launch see what it's first full year holds in terms of quality then I'll decide whether I will be investing in a WiiU or not.

Let's be honest the lems are lapping up all this imaginary glory saying they won 2012 when I all I see worthy of my money coming to the 360 this year that is exclusive is Halo 4 the rest are multiplats and until Halo comes out I will be spending my time playing either they multiplats or Gears of War 3 still that's what it's came to on the 360. I'm not sure whether Forza is out this year not that it concerns me anyway I'm not a fan of it.

Honestly, I'll need to see how things shake out, but after that E3 I'm more open to the idea of spending my console money on a new PC. Game consoles attracted me for one reason, they were made primarily for gaming, and that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.getyeryayasout

I agree. Now in they are trying to be in essence an alternative to a home PC so why pay £3-500 for a brand new console with a bunch of apps like Youtube, Facebook, Netflix etc when you can get the full deal with Desktop at the same price which does all of those things but on a grander scale than what you get with a console.

Definitely considering taking the plunge into PC gaming. I will start saving soon towards building a PC and hopefully by the time I will have saved enough money Sony and Microsoft will have announced their plans for their next gen consoles so I can size up my options and make my decision from there but we will just have to wait and see.

I'm considering PS4/ PC next gen. Halo will be missed.MercenaryMafia

This is seriously crossing my mind aswell. I went from PS2 to 360 because I wanted change and mainly because of Halo never had an original Xbox but my friend did and I loved playing Halo when I was at his house. In the short term it was a great decision with new games like God of War and being introduced to online gaming via Xbox Live I was loving every minute of it but now in the long run it's taken a drastic turn for the worst. The fact that games like ODST and the new Gears of War prequel have been/will be released has shown how weak the Xbox line-up of games is with having to release these games to fill the void between the next big sequel. If Halo has to be sacrificed so I can start to enjoy other games again then so be it, it's one I'm willing to make.

Halo 4 is the only reason I'm not completely abandoning this sinking ship of a console but once I've had my time with it it's going to be adios more than likely. Halo will be missed but I don't feel why I should spend my cash on paying £3-400 on a brand new console just to play a new Halo every couple of years. When I saw the new Gears of War I just knew they are at a dead end with this console and probably the Xbox as a whole idea the fact that they are needing to make prequels of game to fill the gaps until their sequels instead of making brand new IP's is terrible.
