Does it mean I have to PLAY THE XBOX 1 EVERY FRIGGIN DAY?
Say Monday I play Witcher for 10 hrs (crazy open world game/timesink that suks the life out of you) then Tuesday I got real life errands I need to attend to, which means I dont have time to game. Same for Wednesday. Then Thursday my nephew shows up and my router goes up in smoke.
And it's now more than 24 hours since the X1 last phoned home. How does that work?
It's my 5 year old nephew's birthday. He's super excited to play Lego Pirates; he's got all his friends over and they cant wait to treasure hunt, have a blast of a time, you know how kids are at that age
And then ... oooops.... my ISP has gone down, or my router has crashed, the MS server farm has gone kaput ... and .. oh man,

I guess this morphing business is like a relationship with a hooker.
Even though I paid good money for one, I dont really own the person. The hooker is never my property. I'm only paying for a service and the hooker will be phoning her p1mp once every 24hrs of our relationship to make sure I still have $ on my card.
And if I should ever want to share this hooker with a friend, I have to make sure said friend has actually been a buddy for the last 30 days.
Does that sound about right Microsoft? I'm a bit slow when you make things too complicated, so I hope I have I got this down right.
This guy Mattrick will get fired, along with that other idiot Spencer whatever his name is.
Then Steve Ballmer (the current Microsoft CEO) shows up on the news to proclaim a new age of gaming for Microsoft and how he will with immediate effect drop all DRMs and pre owned game policy due to overwhelming customer dissatisfaction.
Ballmer will then be hailed the new hero of the internets (with an army of Microsoft spin doctors working overtime to make sure his fart smells like a rose garden)
And Spencer and Mattrick are then given a few million a piece, leaves the Redmond premises to join EA or Zynga or wherever these suits go to continue their reign of stupidity
