[QUOTE="jkm3"]I did a dance for joy when I learned where silent hill origins was heading. But otherwise than that, I have some history to slog through. nVidiaGaMer

I might have to pass on Silent Hill Origins. Its just too scary.

No silent hill was ever that bad to me. You can just run away from enemies. They are mostly atmosphere more than anything.

But I saw earlier that you wanted to play silent hill 2. Do it. One of my all time favorites. Only $20 now.

Silent hill 3 is the hardest to come by but the best.

What was the best memory you've ever had involving videogames?

Mine would have to be either opening my N64 on my sixth birthday or getting my grandma to buy my Wii for me (with my money of course) because a certain company's policy would not allow me or my parents to.

Playing system shock 2. The whole time. That game taught me how to surrive. In fact, every other game after that one seemed safe. It hardened me.

You're in the right place. PS2 discussion goes here now.

Anyway, about S-video quality: There is a good bit of difference between S-video and composite. Everything looks sharper and the colors don't have a tendency to blur. And it looks like your online question was answered already.

vgm007

great. I brought a sliver slim line. Hasn't come in yet but should sometime this week. Until them I'm staring at red faction, waiting to blow holes in the walls. (this game is hella old, most games today don't even have destructiable enviros)

I own a pretty nice computer and I am a past 360. (over a year ago, brought it for oblivion, sold 8 months later)

There were a few things that sealed the deal for me.

I'm dying to play okami and katamari dalamcy. Plus I'm a huge surrival horror fan. (herad that silent hill orgins is coming to ps2 next month. Awesome.)

Brought

Devl May Cry

Grand Turismo 3

Red faction

Viewful Joe

Just ebayed a copy of Killzone.

But, where are the ps2 forums? I'm new. I saw the xbox 360, ps3, wii and a bunch of general forums. There is even a psp forum? I'm sure more people play ps2 than psp. But anyway

Questions: How much better is the s-video connection over composite?

Is the online free?
