They neglect to mention that its not necessarily the big difference in graphics on SOME ps3 titles. Its the frame rate drops and lag from the PS3 having a weaker GPU, plain and simple. Thats why most PS3 titles are lowered to 720p on PS3 because it runs better and has better FPS just as it would on a PC with a lesser Graphics Card. When they tune it up to 1080p on PS3 the system lags, and the frame rates are poor, also there is a lot of screen tearing. Note:This speaks the same for some Xbox 360 games, some titles coming out now are actually to much for either system to run because of the heavy detailing and textures coming out in games today. Thats why on Uncharted 2 for instance its not full 1080p, because the frame rate would drop, and the game would have so much lag it might even be unplayable on certain areas. Bottom line, lesser gpu requires lower resolution, the slightly more powerful 360 ati gpu handles games a little better, but its starting to reach its max. I don't care if you have six thousand processors, your graphics are only going to be as good as the gpu let you have, the processors just make it easier for psychics, wide vast area of gameplay(due to blu ray), and just the overall ability to have more dynamic gameplay. More debri, rain, snow, etc. Mostly just on PS3 exclusives, which is what makes it so great. Other 3rd party games go for 360 or even PC.:D

Who cares if it takes a little longer, its seconds folks, not hours lol. LIke we have anything better to do if were sitting there playing a game. Does it really matter if it takes a few more or less seconds to come up, no, if the game plays it plays!! Patience grass hoppas. Geezzz

The battle the battle rages on. Well if you want to spend a decent amount of money on a good gaming PC or even a cheap PC with an expensive graphics card go ahead. I myself would not even bother, with all the malware pre installed on PC games i can't believe they even still sell, secure ROM has killed sales and gamestop nor EB games hardly carry them anymore, its rumored they will stop selling PC games by the middle of this year. As for the consoles well, since PCs have lots of adjustment, and tweaking availabe its really an unfair comparison since consoles are whats in it is what stays. Clearly Xbox 360 has and always will have the best GPU and this has been known since its release in 2005 when it was classified as the most power GPU out on the market even burying most computer graphics cards. PS3 i won't even get started on because with its release i also got caught up in all the hype. PS3 uses nothing more than a watered down version of the 7800GTX which this is now 2009 so this is nearly a 4 year old GPU, with a different name the RSX. PS3 also suffers from serious frame rate issues that the 360 has never seen, so its not JUST about graphics here, check out Orange Box, Assassins Creed(less on 360 but some), Fallout 3 pictured here looks jagged and awful, Madden 08, Lair(OMG), Fracture, and even some newer games. While this may not be a big deal to some i think someone who promises to utilize the power of the PS3 should start showing it after 2 years. Even though if you take away the shiney exterior, the 7 cell processors, and blu ray you still have an obsolete system with 3 year old technology at its core. The 360 is the clear winner as far as over all gaming, yes you can get some VERY impressive resolutions out of the PC but at what cost, to much! No games, frame rates suffer, extra money for a suped up power supply, constant crashes, and tons of new viruses straight from the companies are making PC gaming get close to extinction. So 360 doesnt just win in graphics but all the categories, while it may not be the most reliable console on the planet it IS the next gen winner without a doubt. No i'm not a fan boy but i've tested, played, bought, sold all these other machines just to always come back to the 360, so i can't wait for the next revolution to see what Microsoft has up its sleeve because at least they keep there promises and give you a great variety of games and a very powerful console that may have minor issues now and then but hey at least they are honest about it, and no one has the perfect relationship. And if i hear that the PS3 will finally utilize the power of the Cell Processors (we promise) again i think i'll drown myself in a shallow mud puddle, because its getting old. But hey to each there own get what you like, its your money. Fallout 3-360, PC, PS3-Lots of cliches though on all GTA4-While lots of fun never was impressed with the graphics on any of them. Dead Space-360, PC, PS3(actually the PS3 version looks smooth but lacks textures and looks washed out) Call of Duty-World at War-Not impressed, COD 4 was 10 times better looking.

Yes Budweiser I agree Sony definitely has a tendency of making promises they can't keep. Every game i've tried on PS3 just seized to impress, and the power, uhhh well i just know GPU's are GPUs no matter HOW many processors you have. In the end it makes or breaks the game even though there are more important things than graphics, thats the age we live in. Honestly a few games i've seen for the near future look like old xbox or even PS2 games (example look at Age Of Conan). So i agree who cares about CPU power. I'm not a PS3 hater but yes i think now its in trouble, its let me down to much. P.S Killzone 2 pushed back till feb 2009, this happens entirely TO much, whats the last 360 game you remember getting delayed?
